The Los Angeles Clippers are in the race to sign one of the two best bigs in free agency right now. In particular, the LA franchise is looking to add either Serge Ibaka or Marc Gasol, per Marc Stein.

The Clippers are in search of a starting caliber big, after Montrelz Harrell joined the Los Angeles Lakers.

Marc Gasol is considered the more realistic choice for the LA franchise considering that Ibaka is drawing interest from Brooklyn and Toronto.

The Lakers are also trying to sign one more center, however they are facing “much tougher financial constraints in the chase for Gasol after signing Montrezl Harrell away from the Clippers and re-signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope”, according to Stein.
