Former CNN anchor Larry King has been hospitalised due to COVID-19 complications.

King, 87, is being treated at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

Due to protocol in place at the hospital, King’s family have been unable to visit.

The iconic ex-anchor has had health problems over the years, including heart attacks and diagnoses of diabetes and cancer.

In 2020, King lost two of his five children within weeks of one another. Andy lost his life at 65 with a heart attack and his daughter Chaia passed away from lung cancer.
