The Utah Jazz have agreed to a five-year, $195 million contract extension with All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The deal will keep Mitchell in Salt Lake City through the 2025-26 season.
Mitchell wasted no time taking over as the face of the Jazz franchise three years ago and averaged 24.0 points and 4.3 assists per game in 2019-20. The 24-year-old’s arrival in the organization is among the biggest factors in Utah’s ascent into the playoffs.
More to come.
