EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge Round 1 winner – News


Turkish Airlines EuroLeague fans, we have our first winner in the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge!

Mindaugas Simkunas of Lithuania beat everyone else in Round 1 with his team Winter ICe. He had a Fantasy Challenge score of 183.3 points, at least 5.5 ahead everyone else.

Mindaugas had the following lineup: Vasilije Micic of Anadolu Efes Istanbul (15), Alex Abrines of FC Barcelona (24.2), Angelo Caloiaro of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (27.5), Alex Poythress of Zenit St Petersburg (7.7), Joffrey Lauvergne of Zalgiris Kaunas (12.1), Kevin Pangos of Zenit (27.5), team captain Nikola Mirotic of Barcelona (46.2) and Alex Peters of TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (23.1).

As his prize for finishing first in Round 1, Vilius wins a free subscription to Euroleague TV! Obviously, Mindaugas also leads the overall standings of the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge.

Trades are now open for Round 2 of the regular season. Remember, three trades are allowed before each round until the end of the Regular Season.

The earliest games in Round 2, CSKA vs. Maccabi and Zenit vs. Barcelona, are scheduled to tip off on Thursday, October 8 at 19:00 CET, and mark next week’s deadline.
