Fred VanVleet re-signs with the Raptors

Fred VanVleet has agreed to a new, lucrative deal with the Toronto Raptors and will remain with the team long term.

The deal is for four years, worth $85M. Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, VanVleet will have a player option in his fourth year.

VanVleet joined the Raptors in 2016 and helped Toronto win the 2019 NBA championship.

He averaged 17.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6.6 assists last season.
