Premier League Appeared in top shape
James Rodriguez has been going through an uncomfortable spell of late with Everton, failing to start any of the last five games due to a combination of injury and lack of fitness.
After bursting onto the Premier League scene at the start of the season, the Colombian has struggled for continuity in the side, with some beginning to question his physical aptitude.
But the player indirectly responded to any such doubts by uploading a photo of himself on the treadmill, shirtless, appearing in top shape.
Rodriguez has faced some strong criticism from pundits in the Premier League whenever Everton have been on the end of a bad result, and the recent loss to West Ham saw a similar response despite him only coming on for the last 30 minutes.
His coach, Carlo Ancelotti, who has always shown faith in him, mentioned that the former Real Madrid player needed to up his fitness but assured that he would be back to his best soon.
“He needs to improve his condition, but he will be much better in the coming games,” the Italian said.
