The Los Angeles Lakers are considering trading JaVale McGee in order to sign veteran center Marc Gasol.
As Marc Stein of the New York Times reports, trading McGee will help the Lakers create the essential cap flexibility and make a better offer to Gasol.
Per the NBA insider, the New York Knicks have emerged as a trade partner for the defending champions.
McGee recently picked up his player option for the 2020/21 season.
