Nuggets’ coach Wes Unseld Jr. scheduled to interview for LA Clippers’ head coaching job, per report

Wes Unseld Jr. is one of the most common names in the head coaching searches this offseason. The Denver Nuggets’ assistant coach was scheduled to interview for the Los Angeles Clippers’ head coaching vacancy, per Mike Singer of The Denver Post.

“Unseld Jr. has already interviewed for the Houston Rockets head coaching vacancy and was scheduled to interview for the Los Angeles Clippers job on Thursday, a league source told The Denver Post.”

Unseld Jr. is the defensive coordinator of the Denver Nuggets under Mike Malone. The talented coach has already interviewed for the Houston Rockets’ head coaching job.

The Nuggets came off an incredible postseason run in the NBA restart, where Mike Malone’s team reached the Western Conference Finals.
