Transfer Market Worked together at Tottenham
With Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival at Paris Saint-Germain, transfer rumours are bound to follow and the first is one linking Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with a move to the French capital.
Keylor Navas has been the undisputed starter at PSG since he signed from Real Madrid, but with Pochettino working with Lloris during his time at Tottenham, it appears the Costa Rican could be pushed down the pecking order.
According to Eurosport, Pochettino wants to make Lloris his first signing as PSG boss, which could be more likely to happen given the French goalkeeper only has one year left on his deal with Spurs.
Should that happen, Keylor would likely leave PSG, even though he has two more years on his contract, though it may transpire that Pochettino will want to keep both stoppers at the club to ensure quality in depth.
After five years at Real Madrid, Keylor moved to Paris in 2019 and was former coach Thomas Tuchel’s starting goalkeeper from day one, and even at 34 years old he would still be a top quality asset for any team.
