Roland Garros 2020 Comfortable victory for the Spaniard

Rafael Nadal beat Stefano Travaglia 6-1, 6-4, 6-0 on Friday, to clinching a spot in the French Open Last 16.

This was his 96th victory in the tournament where the Spaniard has registered just two defeats in his career.

Nadal is followed by Novak Djokovic who has recently equalled Roger Federer’s tally of 70 victories at the Roland Garros.

The game against Travaglia lasted one hour and 35 minutes, with Nadal showing off his superiority from the start.

After winning the first set comfortably, the Spaniard had some resistance from his opponent who took the lead at the start of the second set.

However, Nadal came out victorious and cruised past Travaglia in the third set to grab the win.

He will now face American Sebastian Korda for a spot in the French Open quarter-finals.

The 20-year-old, ranked 213 in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, had previous eliminated Pedro Martinez in three sets.
