Serie A Criticised the Juventus forward
Paulo Dybala has been criticised for his recent displays by both Juventus fans and club president Andrea Agnelli, with Antonio Cassano also hitting out against the Argentine.
The 27-year-old forward has reportedly turned down the Old Lady’s offers to renew his contract as he wants to earn double the 7.5 million euros per season that he is being offered.
“All his coaches at Juventus did not consider him necessary, so I wonder if he is a champion or a great player,” Cassano told Cristian Vieri in a discussion on Twitch.
“For me he is not a champion, he does not make the difference. He has [scored] good goals, like I saw [Antonio] Di Natale and [Lorenzo] Insigne do.
“But if you want to take Juventus’ No.10 [shirt], you have to be at a higher level.
“I have the feeling that, when they put pressure on him, he pis*es himself.
“And then he asks for 10 million euros per season. Oh, please…”
Dybala’s departure from Juventus could be imminent, with clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea having set sights on the Argentina international.
